“The best things in life are the ones that are unexpected”.

This was certainly true in Sam and Naomi’s story as Sam came into her life just at the time when she was making plans to move to South Africa. As they turned from long time acquaintances to friends, and then lovers- Naomi saw this as a sign. She was to stay, and be with Sam.

We took these pictures in the beautiful Barber Surgeons Garden. This was such an unexpected tranquil space in the heart of London and with the gorgeous golden light we had, it truly was the perfect setting for Sam and Naomi’s whimsical engagement shoot. I consider myself quite lucky that I tend to get couples who are always full of giggles and playful with each other. Always a joy to work with- I must be doing something right! Sam and Naomi were no exception.

Having got engaged in May just this year and their wedding happening in two days, it’s been such an exciting journey for these two and I can’t wait to soak in all of the sweetness this day will have.
